About CWR

CWR was founded as a Christian ministry in 1965 by Selwyn Hughes. Since then, we have grown into an international publishing and training organisation which seeks to enable people to apply God’s word to everyday life and relationships. In addition to the variety of courses we offer, we produce a wide range of high-quality resources including daily devotionals, books, videos, audio cassettes and other inspirational items.

Publications

Our comprehensive range of Bible reading notes includes Every Day with Jesus, Cover to Cover Every Day (a five-year Bible reading programme), Lucas on Life Every Day and Inspiring Women Every Day. We also cater for various age groups of younger readers with our publications Mettle, YP’s and Topz.

Our resources catalogue is rapidly expanding, and includes categories embracing Christian Living, Women, Encouragement, Bible Study, Youth and Children. Calendars, diaries, Christmas cards, training resources, dvds and audio cassettes are also available.

CWR Statement of belief

We believe that the Bible is the only infallible, authoritative Word of God; that there is one God, eternally existent in Three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious death and His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, in His gifts and graces and in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
